The purpose of the Dental Hygiene Restorative Examination is to evaluate a candidate’s ability to utilize professional judgment and competency in providing restorative procedures as allowed by state statute. This typodont-based examination consists of the placement, carving, and finishing of one (1) Class II amalgam and one (1) Class II composite restoration. The assignment consists of one mesiocclusal (MO) and one distocclusal (DO) maxillary and mandibular molar preparation. Candidates should confirm their state requirements for acceptance before registering for this exam.

**Registration credit use/refund must be completed within two years of original payment date, minus any applicable administrative fees. Registration credits not valid for use or refund beyond expiry date [2 years from initial date of payment].
